Those who believe that their way is the only way, when we all know that God's way is the only way. Pray for those caught up in gangs, terrorism, cults and any other groups that resort to brainwashing of their members to keep them under control. September 10, 2000 This week, a 12 year old girl was set on fire by her two best friends because one of them thought she was flirting with her boyfriend. The girl has second and third degree burns over 25% of her body and the other two girls have gone to jail and the judge has yet to decide whether too prosecute them as adults or as kids. Please pray for all three girls, for their families and for the school friends who are in shock. Pray also for children everywhere who are taking this boy/girl thing far to seriously at far to young an age. June 2000 Pray for those who care for the elderly. Pray especially for family members who care for their loved ones. Pray for Strength, for love, for patience and for compassion. It is not an easy task to care for the elderly who are ill or infirm in any way and those with memory problems are sometimes harder to deal with then those with physical ailments. Please keep these people in your prayers as they perform the daily thankless tasks that must be done. September 29, 1999 Pray for the victims of all the earthquakes around the world in the last few days. The Quakes in Turkey, and the Quakes in Tiawan. Pray for those who have lost family and friends, and for those who are injured, homeless and destitute because of the quakes. August 26, 1999 Pray for our students as they return to the classroom. Pray for their safety before, during and after school. Pray for the teachers and the administrators that they would watch over these young minds. Pray also for what is taught in these schools, that the subject matter will be wholesome, healthy, and productive for each student and that steps be taken to correct the problems in our schools. June 12, 1999 Pray for those who are suffering from depression. Depression is one of the most terrible afflictions that is attacking our society today. It is destroying people of all ages including teenagers and young adults. It is crippling men and women who need and want to support their families and build good relationships. It is destroying marriages and families. Pray that those suffering from this will receive the help they need and be able to move on to build strong productive lives. Pray for those who have lost loved ones and pray for healing for the injured. April 25, 1999 Please pray for all the people who have been affected by the events in Littleton, Colorado this past week. Also pray for wisdom for all of us to find solutions that will work for the violence that is so rampant among the young. Pray that our leaders and lawmakers will take into consideration the entire problem and not try another bandage approach.
