Faith United Church of Christ began its history as a Sunday Church School in 1903, headquartered in the old Pacific Avenue schoolhouse with six persons in attendance. On March 30, 1904, Zion Classis of the Reformed Church granted permission for a new church start, and the cornerstone of the present structure was laid on July 17, 1904.
MISSION STATEMENT: The mission and vision of Faith United Church of Christ is to be a community of faith in which, strengthened together as we cannot be alone, we can know and love God, ourselves and others through the Good News in Jesus Christ. Transformed, we are called to proclaim and embody God's coming reign in all areas of our private and public lives, and invite others to live with us as children of God.
