<!--%%text_6%%I bought this Samurai new in 1987. After 9 years and 160,000 miles the old girl gave up the ghost. \nI took a chance on a used motor and an unknown mechanic and got burned. The result was it sat for 6 years. \nEarly May of 2003 a friend found a motor, still running,in the original truck for 250 bucks....I couldn't resist.\n I bought the motor and done all of the work myself and plan a few upgrades. My oldest daughter, 11, wants it for hers when she starts driving, so the wife and daughters have gotten involved in the restore.\n The girls bought the lizard print seat covers and steering wheel cover for Father's Day. My wife redone the interior panels with black cloth and lizrd appliques, hence the name "LIZOOKI".\n I'll change the pics as work progresses. i eventually plan to put the Icom 706 MKII and screwdriver antenna for mobile HF ops.\n\nUPDATE!!!! 11/ 6/03- Well, I ve got the screwdriver and the 706 in the Zuk.....you notice it in the pics.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n%%-->
