This is just a beginning. I will have several options for new and old hams to try. Come back and look around as I will be cycling the pics and info around.

This is my favorite hf antenna. It's an 80m zepp. Approximately 120ft. long fed with ladderline. Some also call this a doublet. Either way, this is a very good antenna. It will work 80m-10m with a tuner. Installed at typical heights it is omnidirectional on most bands and might be bi-directional on the higher bands.

This is the umbiquitous G5RV. As they say, some people swear by them, others swear at them. Either way, it is a popular antenna, Why? Well, regardless of the naysayers, it is multibandable. I've never seen one do it with out a tuner, but some claim it's possible. The antenna does rock on 20m and up, does a respectable job on 40m and is usable on 80m. All in a 120ft package. I still prefer the zepp. And in a space crunch, an 88ft. will work almost as good. more on the 88 footer on the portable page.

This is a 2m roll-up jpole made out of ladderline. Even though everybody and his brother too has one on thier site, the ladderline versions are rare. I use this with 15ft. of coax and the MFJ telescoping pole for a good anywhere 2m signal. You should be able to see the details and info on the big pic. I'll add a more detailed explanation of construction later.
