Piedras Negras was the first Mission trip to Mexico we took. We had a total of 11 people of this trip. We were the only group working on this site this year. With this being our first Mission trip to Mexico, we didn't really know what to expect. Rick Owens had us put the finishing touches on the church building here. We got to put the roof on this building. In 2000 we had the opportunity to go back to Piedras Negras and work for a few days. It's very rewarding to go back to where you have helped other churches, and see how the work their is doing and also to know that what you did didn't fall apart. Hahaha. The buildings Rick has us build are very stable, and will last forever.
